Yong Hwa gives Seohyun a back hug on “We Got Married”

On this week’s episode of MBC’s “We Got Married”, SNSD’s Seohyun presented her ‘husband’, CNBLUE’s Yong Hwa, with a surprise gift after their long day of shooting their wedding photos.

Seohyun started off by saying, “It’s cold”. Yong Hwa replied cunningly, “What do you want me to do? Do you want me to hug you or what?” Seohyun rebuked, “What exactly are you thinking of doing?” It was then when Yong Hwa suddenly gave Seohhyun a back hug and said, “I know you like it, don’t pretend like you don’t, cause I see it all in your eyes.”

Seohyun then revealed to Yong Hwa that she had a surprise gift for him, but Yong Hwa continued to joke around, as he replied, “Like what? You made a scarf? Gloves? A mask?”

In the end, Seohyun really did knit a scarf for her ‘husband’, making Yong Hwa want to retract his words.

During their interviews with the PD, Seohyun light-heartedly expressed, “He has no sense whatsoever. I just wanted to give him a gift out of gratitude.” Yong Hwa also expressed his thankfulness for the present, as he said, “I was really sorry. I actually wear it around every day these days.”

CNBLUE Jung Yonghwa’s Banmal Song #1 Upon Official Release!

On January 14th, CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa released his digital single “For First Time Lovers” (known as Banmal Song). At 10 a.m., Banmal Song reached #1 spot on various real-time charts such as Cyworld BGM Music, Bugs, Soribada and Daum Music.

Meanwhile, Secret Garden OST “That Man” (sung by actor Hyun Bin) and IU’s “Someday” remain steadily on the charts.

Banmal Song raised viewers attention after it was featured in the variety show “We Got Married” (MBC). The acoustic (instrumental) version was also released at the same time as the full song.
The couple recorded the UCC of Banmal Song as a mission in MBC’s “We Got Married” and posted it on YouTube, which then received more than 2 million hits.

YongSeo finished shooting final episode on ‘White Day’

YongSeo’s series of MBC’s ‘We Got Married’ started more than a year ago on February 27th, 2010. Due to Yonghwa and Seohyun’s busy schedules, the production team faces difficulties in arranging and coordinating the schedules for shooting. Thus, the YongSeo couple has no choice but to bid farewell to their fans.

YongSeo did their final shooting on March 14th, which is also the ‘White Day’ in Korea. The final episode is expected to be aired either on the end of March or beginning of April.

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa and SNSD’s Seohyun have recorded their final episode for ‘We Got Married‘ on March 14th.

The ‘YongSeo Couple‘ started their virtual marriage in February of last year and finally decided to part ways after a year of marriage. The cold Kyungnam man and the model student Seohyun’s fresh coupling received a lot of love from fans.

A representative from the show expressed, “The two singers’ schedules are very busy by nature, and they have endured a lot of difficulty for filming. Even though it was a shame, we just wrapped up our final filming. Yonghwa gave Seohyun a guitar as a present during the last filming.”

There is still footage left to be broadcast, and the YongSeo Couple’s last episode will be shown in the beginning of April.

Jung Yonghwa, ‘singer-songwriter’ upgrade in CNBLUE’s new album

Handsome Band’ CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa (22) took part in composing the new album, showing an ‘upgraded’ look as a singer-songwriter.

Jung Yonghwa has recently been listed in the ‘Korea Music Copyright Association’ as ‘Writer (Lyricist) / Composer’ for CNBLUE’s new album that will be released on the 21st. There are 4 songs that he has written and composed that will be included in this album, including ‘I Don’t Know Why’, ‘Love Girl’, ‘Just Please’ and ‘One Time’. He has also participated in writing the lyrics for ‘Imagine’ and “READY AND GO”.

Jung Yonghwa has been steadily made known for his composing and writing skills. The song that he made during his appearance on MBC’s ‘We Got Married Season 2′ with SNSD’s Seohyun, “Song for First-Time Lovers”, reached 1st placed on various charts when it was released in January. The song that Jung Yonghwa wrote and composed for CNBLUE’s 3rd single in Japan, ‘Try again, Smile again’, also reached #2 on the Oricon Daily Single Chart. FNC Music official stated, “For this album, Jung Yonghwa didn’t sleep at night trying to create songs, putting his all into writing and composing.” The official also added, “CNBLUE’s new album has received 100,000 pre-orders and is increasing.”

Jung Yonghwa to reveal his singer-songwriter skills through CNBLUE’s new album

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa aims to reveal his upgraded singer-songwriter skills by including several original compositions in his band’s latest album.

CNBLUE’s first full-length album, “First Step“, will have four songs that were written and composed by the leader, including “I Don’t Know Why“, “Love Girl“, “Just Please“, and “One Time“. He also wrote the lyrics for “Imagination” and “Ready and Go“.

Jung Yonghwa has been working consistently on composing and writing lyrics for songs. He previously released his original composition, “For the First Time Lovers: Banmal Song” in January, which placed 1st on several online music charts. He also wrote and composed songs for CNBLUE’s third Japanese single, “Try Again. Smile Again“, which reached 2nd place on the Oricon Daily Single Chart.

A representative from his agency said, “Yonghwa has not been sleeping because of the new album release, and has invested much time in composing and writing lyrics. You can expect CNBLUE’s album to be just as good as before, only this time it’ll be in a new way“.
