MBC allows fans to pick the name of Yonghwa’s new drama

MBC’s upcoming drama (working title: “Festival“) is pioneering an interesting new strategy to generate buzz – they’re allowing fans to pick the title of the drama!

The drama is already gaining some interest because the lead roles were revealed to be CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa and actress Park Shin Hye. The two were a much-loved couple on “You’re Beautiful“, and fans were excited to see them reunite.

The best submissions will win prizes, and up for grabs are Park Shin Hye’s sunglasses, Jung Yonghwa’s backpack, and signed copies of CNBLUE’s new album, “First Step“.

Unfortunately for international fans, the page is entirely in Korean, and you’ll have to be a registered member of iMBC in order to vote.

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa releases “For First-Time Lovers”

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa released a special digital rearrangement of the ‘Banmal Song‘ that was created by him and his ‘wife’, SNSD’s Seohyun, on MBC’s “We Got Married.”

Re-titled to “For First-Time Lovers (Subtitle: ‘Banmal Song’),” the track was released on January 14th and features lovely lyrics expressing Yonghwa’s message for first-time lovers in helping them get closer.  The rearranged version has an easy-to-follow melody with a light acoustic sound.

The ‘Banmal Song’ itself has been attracting wide popularity ever since the couple composed it as a UCC mission.  It has received over two million views since it was uploaded on YouTube, and various parodies have also emerged.

Jung Yong Hwa jealous

The make-believe couple, Jung Yong Hwa and Seohyun, decided to visit CNBLUE’s dorm on the August 28th’s episode of We Got Married as a little gift for the three boys in the band.

Jungshin, the bass player in CNBLUE, asked Seohyun to make a meal for the hungry members. Already prepared, Seohyun gladly accepted the favor and began to cook her signature cream spaghetti and everyone went shopping together for the ingredients. After shopping, Jungshin then volunteered to help out with her cooking.

The atmosphere between Jungshin and Seohyun began to get slightly romantic, releasing the inner jealousy inside Yonghwa. Annoyed at their “romance,” Yonghwa shouted to Seohyun, “Watch what Jungshin’s saying and tell me everything that he tells you.”

The relationship of the two is definitely going strong in my opinion, and I personally think it’s only a matter of time before they become the next Jo Kwon and Ga-in.
